2.3.2012 PhD student Mikael Nyberg at OSE recently won an etap in the worlds largest virtual regatta (Volvo Ocean Race Game), with over 178000 registered boats. He took help of one hundred year old weather maps as well as his knowledge in optimization. Read more in (swedish) MFÅA, (4/2012, sid 6).
