Registration

We would like you to register, if you are using Bodil. Future development and improved support will be easier to focus with concrete evidence about the user base of the program.

Registration is not compulsory. However, the program will run in demo mode without a valid license key. All functionality is present in the demo mode, but the program will automatically quit in 30 minutes.

You have to supply a valid e-mail address, since an e-mail containing license key(s) will be sent to that address. Some people prefer to use a secondary address (like one from Yahoo) for registrations of this type. That works just fine.

We will store the e-mail address, but will not disclose it to any third party. Announcements about Bodil development may be send to you only if you allow that in the registration form below.

System Requirements

Linux

The 3D graphics uses features of OpenGL 1.1 standard. The Linux binaries have been compiled on Fedora Core 1 and 3 systems (developed by Red Hat).

Stereoscopic graphics are known to work on Linux systems with a NVidia Quadro 4 graphics cards, XFree86 version 4.3.0 or X.Org X11 with the NVidia driver and both Stereographics (E-2) and NuVision (60GX) emitters. ATI Radeon graphics cards without a direct emitter connector also work using a Xi Graphics Summit 2.1 X server and emitter connection via video output port through a StereoEnabler adapter from Stereographics.

NOTE: Fedora Core 3 kernel version 2.6.11 with NVidia driver version 7174 crashes the graphics on hardware stereo capable (Quadro) systems. NVidia driver version 7664 works.

SGI Irix

Irix 6.5.22m or later and Qt 3.3.4 (provided).

Windows

The program has been tested on Windows versions 2000 and XP. Windows NT should also work.
