Task
force pilot plant
|
Survey of available pilot plants in Europe; Table
1, Table
2.
The primary duties of the task force
include screening of the relevant pilot plants for analytical process
of biorefinery, to make a survey of the pilot plants, to publish a
short description about each plant that are available in the area in
Europe and also to establish a first contact with the pilot plants.
The aim of the task
force is to create connections between scientists within the cost
action with all listed pilot plant during the COST action period.
The task force is
also required to connect research institutions, laboratories and
companies that are member of the COST action with relevant industrial
pilot plants in their areas.
The coordinator of
the Task Force establishes the first contacts between different pilot
plants with respect to analytical methods for biorefinery in
Europe.
The coordinator is
responsible to inform all members of the COST action about new
applications, new equipments and facilities that are available for
research and development concerning biorefinery and keep them apprised
of all actions taken by the Task Force.
The coordinator can
help with setup of experimental designs that will be performed at a
certain pilot plant to reduce the number of experiments and
identification of important parameters. Further, help with planning of
an optimization of the process can be arranged.
The coordinator also
serves as a member of the COST action and represents the Swedish
University of Agricultural Sciences in the program. The coordinator is
a member of management committee and will participate in all MC meeting
and workshops arranged by the COST action.
The task force will
coordinate activities performed at different available pilot plants.
