N. Kenneth Sandnabba
Professor N. Kenneth Sandnabba is the responsible director of the Center of Excellence in Behavior
Genetics. Dr. Sandnabba was appointed as professor of applied psychology at the Åbo Akademi
University in the year 2002. He is also a certified (NACS) specialist in clinical sexology as
well as a registered psychologist and psychotherapist. His earlier scientific work has looked at
the behavior genetics of aggression using animal models, and at different aspects of human sexual
behavior and gender roles.
Professor Sandnabba is managing the staff and the budget. He is also responsible for the overall
supervision, including that the aims of the research project are met.
