These are the web study tools available for chemists at Åbo Akademi.

MarvinSketch is a java based chemical editor for drawing and viewing chemical structures, queries and reactions.

JChemPaint is an editor for 2D molecular structures. See the demo applet.

Jmol is a java based molecule viewer to view 3D models in web. Two examples are here:

Use the mouse to rotate the molecules. With the other mouse button you'll get the menu. The middle button zooms.

JSpecView is an applet and platform independent application for viewing almost all spectras in the jcamp format.

There are tools available for modelling any reasonably size molecule. Both molecular mechanics and semi-empirical quantum chemistry can be used.

DragMath is an applet to write maths. It helps to find right Latex tags.
