Curretly, we are working on structure and function of several proteins. These projects include i) Thrombospondin type I domains, and their interaction with heparin ii) Interaction of calsium sentisizing drugs with Cardiac Troponin C, and Troponin complex, as well as many other proteins / protein domains.
The NMR laboratory of VTT moved to Viikki in the beginning of 2000 joining together the biological NMR efferts in southern Finland. Simultaneous installation of high field NMR spectrometer(s) (up to 800 MHz) warranted best possible instrumentation for the new combined laboratory.
