Copy cards for them can be bought from the
Student Union Office in Havtornen.
Please note that the copy cards from the Åbo
Campus do not work in the copying machine in
Academill, and vice versa.
At Åbo Akademi University, printing costs 3.3
cents per page (black and white)/25 cents per
page (colour) for students. However, students
have a printing quota of 6? per quarter (approx.
180 pages). After this, students are charged per
page. Students exceeding their quota will receive
an invoice at the end of the quarter. Staff at the
university do not have a printing quota. You can
check the status of your printing quota here:
(both staff and students).
For academic matters, ask your host department
or faculty for permission to use their scanners.
2.11 Language Studies
Courses in Swedish and Finnish are held at the
Centre for Language and Communication at Åbo
Akademi University.
There is a limited amount of seats on the courses,
which tend to be very popular, so be sure to
check the registration procedures and sign up for
the course(s) you want to take well in advance.
