Åbo Akademi University endeavours
to promote equality and equal
opportunities, and it has also
drawn up a programme for the
purpose of reaching out to students
with functional impairments. The
programme highlights the different
aspects of accessibility – physical,
mental and social – and draws
specific attention to reading and
writing difficulties (dyslexia) and
mental health issues.
As an educational institution, public
body and employer, we aim to
systematically advance and safeguard
equal opportunities, and to prevent
and prohibit any discrimination.
