Nordic Network in Biological Informatics

The four member organizations of the Network:

National Doctoral Programme in Informational and Structural Biology (ISB)

ISB was established at the end of 1997. The program aims to provide high-quality, multi-disciplinary education and research training in Finland in the fields of bioinformatics, structural biology, biophysics and experimental biochemistry.

BioStruct - National Graduate School in Structural Biology

The National graduate school in structural biology – BioStruct, is established as an arena for promoting structural biology in Norway and to provide expertice and tools for the research education in the field.

Research School in Systems Biology (SysBio)

The Research School for Systems Biology (RS-SysBio) was established at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) in December 2006. The primary goal of the research school is to establish a fruitful scientific environment for the the PhD-students working in systems biology on campus.

National Research School in Genomics and Bioinformatics (GenBio)

The overall aim of the research school is to play the role of a strong force in south-western Sweden for research and education in the fields of genomics and bioinformatics, and in that process strengthen the links between the collaborating universities at all possible levels.
