Some Concluding Remarks

• The cooperation between the universities, Town of Turku and the local private companies made possible the early start of computer use in Turku. For university people this was a big step.
  Cooperation became a tradition.

• The cooperation in computing between the computer centers of the universities is still strong and fruitful with common resources including the computer network.

• The cooporation between the universities, Town of Turku and the local private companies has now carried over to the education area, i.e., in providing people resources needed in the IT area, through TUCS (Turku Center for Computer Science).
