- In January the foundation Sovelletun matematiikan ja tietojenkäsittelyalan tutkimussäätiö - Forskningsstiftelsen för tillämpad matematik och databehandling and Turun Laskukeskus - Åbo Räknecentral for managing Wegematic 1000 were proposed.
- Flore space 130 m2 for Wegematic 1000 at the rent of 32,000mk/month from TY was hired.
- In March a programming course (24 h) for Wegematic 10000 with lecturers from Wenner-Gren Center was held.
- On April 2 the budget (1.9-31.12) for Turun Laskukeskus based on start Sept. 1 was accepted (start costs: 5.95 Mmk to be covered by loan; operation costs: 2.74 Mmk to be covered by charges for computer guarantee hours 7 000 mk/h).
