About Us

Sigma, founded in 1959, is the student association for mathematics students at Åbo Akademi University. We are a small group of around 40 members with close ties to fysikerföreningen Quantum due to the nature of our studies. We regularly host different kinds of events, e.g. game nights, sitzes and bar crawls.

    Our office, which we share with Quantum, Kemistklubben and Biologica, is located in Aurum. In addition, Sigma and Quantum share Graduvinden, a small space in the attic of Geologicum.

Overalls

We are hard to miss in our bright orange overalls! In the fall when the freshers get their overalls, we traditionally host an "overall initiation".

Merch

Overall patches, songbooks, sweatshirts (sold in dark green, black or grey) and more can be bought during our office hours. Keep a look out on Instagram or send us a message to find out when they are!
