Current research
My main research interests include new forms of creative interreligious dialogue, intercultural communication and peace studies. Hence, my publications have primarily focused on dialogue and cultural encounters but also on questions related to method and theory within the humanities, e.g. interpretative research methods. I am currently finalising a three year research project on creative interreligious dialogue in which I follow artists (musicians, filmmakers, writers, multimedia artists) around Europe who in their professional work have taken up the questions of religious pluralism and dialogue. At the moment, I am finalising a manuscript for a monograph based on this material to be published in 2010.
