WELCOME TO THE MUSEUM

The Sibelius Museum is easy to reach. The museum is about one kilometre from the market square and only 150 meters from the Turku cathedral. The milieu is peaceful and cozy: the museum is surrounded by the university quarters and the museum site lies next to the River Aura. Turku is an excellent travel destination with fast connections from Helsinki and flight and ferry connections from Stockholm.

Open: Tuesday-Sunday 11-16, Wednesdays also 18-20 (Mondays closed).
On concert Wednesdays the museum is open 11-16 and 18-19, the concerts begin at 19.

In 2015 the museum is closed 1.1, 5-28.1, 3.4, 1.5, 19-21.6, 6.12 and 24-26.12.

Entrance fee 4€, students 2€
Under age 18: free entrance
Groups 2€/person, minimum 10 persons
School classes with teacher free, booking recommended.

The entrance fee includes guide services, however it is desirable that groups reserve the services in advance

It is also possible to visit the museum outside ordinary opening hours for an extra fee
