The Weather Station at the Process Design and Systems Engineering Laboratory

We are using a WPS-10, Digital Weather Station with Euro option (i.e. metric scale, high resolution). For more detailed information about this and other weather station models, please contact the manufacturer, Texas Weather Instruments, INC.. Sensors included are wind speed and direction, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, rain and solar radiation. The weather sensors are mounted on a 6m high television type mast (see picture below) on the top of the Axelia building, at Biskopsgatan 8, Turku, Finland.
