For the year 2001 the following activities are planned:

• >"The Midnight Sun Workshop on Stochastic Analysis and Mathematical Finance", Kautokeino, Norway, June 27-July 2, 2001.

The following scholarships will be available:

• 2 mobility scholarships (with family supplement) for research students (3 months each) to visit universities and research institutions in another Nordic country or, alternatively,
  1 scholarship for 6 months

 
• Nordic participation in postgraduate course on "Numerical Methods for Stochastic Differential Equations", Stockholm 2 - 6 April, Lund 7 - 11 May, 2001

 
• Nordic participation in advanced course on "Statistical Mechanics of Disordered Systems", lectures by Anton Bovier, Weierstrass Institute, Berlin, University of Copenhagen, Denmark 23 - 27 April, 2001

 
• Participation in "Nordic Symposium on Contingent Claims", Stockholm,  25 - 26 May, 2001

 
• Nordic participation in "Finnish Summer School in Probability Theory", Lahti, Finland, 
  4 - 8 June, 2001

 
• Nordic participation in "Russian Scientific School: Mathematical Methods in Ecology", Petrozavodsk, 10 - 16 June, 2001
