Stochastic Analysis and its Applications
Stochastic Analysis and its Applications
is a network in mathematics funded by the Nordic
Academy of Advanced Study (NorFA). The aim is to coordinate and
increase the efficiency of Nordic research training within this academic
area. The project is supported over three years, 1998-2000, and the activities
will include
-
Research workshops,
-
Research symposia,
-
Mobility scholarships,
in which research training will be a major
part.
For the year 2000 the following activities
are planned:
Some funds for travelling and accommodation
are available for participants.
The following scholarships will be available:
-
2 mobility scholarships (with family supplement)
for research students (3 months each) to visit universities and research
institutions in another Nordic country
-
2 mobility scholarships for researchers (1
month each) to visit universities and research institutions in another
Nordic country
-
Nordic participation in "GRADUATE
COURSE IN BIOINFORMATICS", Uppsala, 24-26.2.2000 and Gothenburg 23-25.3.2000
-
Participation in Workshop "Random
Matrices and Free Probability", Sandbjerg Manor, Denmark, 5-9.6.2000
-

-
Participation in Summer School on "Quantum
Field Theory - from a Hamiltonian point of view", Sandbjerg Manor,
Denmark, 2-9.8.2000
-
