Current research
My research focuses on migration, diasporas and immigrant religious activity in Finland. Currently, I am interested how recent changes in Western welfare states are affecting the position of minority religious and cultural organisations in society. In addition, I have an interest for migration policy and cultural implications of consumer capitalism.
