Research in international marketingCreating and developing value in the telecommunications sector Anna-Greta Nyström The overall objective of this research is to look at how technological culture creates value in business networks within the telecommunications sector and to investigate the role of globalisation in this emerging technological culture, which in turn affects the creation of value in business networks. As the convergence of telecommunications, media and IT occurs and overlaps business markets or segments overlap each other, there is a need for service providers, content producers, software producers etc. to build their competencies serving these converging areas as a whole. The project is a part of the VALUENET programme.
