Åbo Akademi är fr.o.m. år 2013 medlem i
CONAHEC, Consortium for North American
Higher Education Collaboration. Inom CONAHEC
finns ett studentutbytesprogramsomstuderande
vid ÅA kan ansöka till.
CONAHEC's Student Exchange Program
is designed for both undergraduate and
graduate students, including students at the
doctoral level. The program covers all academic
disciplines as well as options for students
interested in academic coursework and on-
the-job training and/or experiential education
abroad (internships).
Vid ÅA lediganslås primärt platser för
studentutbyte inom CONAHEC. Förutom ÅA:s
kriterier för studentutbyte har CONAHEC följande
kriterier:
Each CONAHEC member institution has
established criteria for student exchange
eligibility standards. Generally, all applicants
must:
1. be a currently enrolled Undergraduate or
Graduate Student;
2. be in good academic standing at their home
college or university;
3. provide documentation of their foreign
language proficiency;
4. provide documentation of their ability to
fund the cost of living at the host institution
Språkkrav
U.S. colleges and universities
require the
following
minimum
TOEFL
scores:
Undergraduates: 550/80 IBT, Graduates: 550-
600/80 IBT. Please note that these are general
guidelines. Specific institutions may require
higher or lower scores.
Canadian colleges and universities
in English-
speakingprovincesmaintainsimilar requirements
to those of U.S. institutions.
Spanish-language colleges and universities
require proof of a student's proficiency in the
Spanish language. Institutions may accept
exchange students based on the student's
official home institution transcript which lists
each Spanish language course completed and

the accompanying grade or score. To confirm
the student's proficiency, students may also be
required to complete a written and oral Spanish
language examupon arrival at the host exchange
institution.

Om resultat från TOEFL-test krävs till de
universitet du räknat upp i din ansökan kan
testet avläggas genast efter att resultatet om
de ansökningar som går vidare klarnat. TOEFL
testet kostar ca 200 ?.
