Some methods, techniques and materials used within
CLIL-programmes

Practicing skills to use English/a foreign language as the
medium of instruction in different subjects taught at
primary school level (pupils 7-12 years old)

show basic skills in implementing CLIL-methodology

discuss a CLIL-related theme of interest in relation to

Lecturer: Jan-Erik Romar
Learning objectives: The aim of the course is to present dif-
ferent winter sports to exchange students. Participants get
to try sports combined with snow and ice, as cross-country,
skiing, ice-skating and downhill skiing. Equipment for the
different sports will be rented and therefore the participants
are asked to be prepared for covering the rental costs. The
course will be planned in cooperation between the students
and the lectures.
Assessment: Participation in the activities included in the
course.
